Hey, my name is Gabriel Emilio Gonzalez Arnaiz, but Gabe's good! For the last decade I've designed, written, and produced a few games. I've worked on titles like Madden NFL and The Simpsons: Tapped Out and a ton of cancelled projects. Before I worked at EA my big academic achievement was pitching and leading the creation of Battle Fortress Tortoise: a Steam Greenlight program-endorsed wild idea with giant creatures, tower defense, and naval warfare motifs.
I'm always a work/life balanced, empathetic, and inclusive member of the team. My responsibilties have included team leadership, creative direction, and production process management. I'm no programmer, but I have a few years of technical designer experience. I know my way enough around source control and engines like Unreal/Unity to get by.
I grew up in Jacksonville, Florida in a Cuban and Puerto Rican mixed family. I'm proud of my heritage, and I want to do what I can to see more Latinx talent in the industry around me.
